Competent solutions since 1997 by railway experts.

Since 1997 the name Wagemann has been a byword for professional realization of global supply and waste disposal solutions for railway transport providers. No matter whether fixed or mobile, interior cleaning machinery, media holders or boarding aids, all our appliances are approved by the German Railway Authority (EBA) and the relevant health authorities. That also applies to our own development WaVa (Wagemann Vakuum) which can be used in transit or in a fixed location.

Thus Wagemann provides the perfect blend of many years of expertise in consultancy and engineering for international, private and state-run transport organizations, system vendors and train manufacturers, as well as operators of infrastructure and depots.

One particular strength of Wagemann is that we integrate the construction and location-related circumstances of railway depots and service points with the greatest possible flexibility in our planning and realization. Thus we develop in a cost-conscious manner needs-based and customer-oriented solutions for supply and waste removal of trains, and then realize these solutions from end to end to the highest quality standard – as railway experts since 1997.

At Wagemann, it is not only the components, but also the solution that is at the heart of everything we do for our railway customers.

Mission statement

Our principles for developing, concept planning and construction mobile and fixed supply- and waste disposal systems.

wagemann_leitbild2_en

Cost efficient

  • Deutsche Bahn (DB Netze)-released.
  • German Railway Authority (EBA)-approved.
  • A wide range of options and add-ons thanks to a modular system.
  • Minimal heat output thanks to enhanced insulation of units and optional remote monitoring.
  • Compact construction design on precisely fitting foundation.
  • Fast installation of the machinery/appliance as we do not use third-party components and as a result we avoid cost-intensive extra work.

Robust

  • Our appliances are developed to meet the requirements of railway systems.
  • Stable sealing system, specially designed for the target application.
  • Modular system integrates all required functionality.
  • For enhanced operational reliability, two redundantly operating pumps or choppers are in operation.

User-friendly

  • An automatic interlocking of the units ensures that the operational processes of the supply and waste disposal  systems only work separately, one after another.
  • Optional bay area lighting.
  • Intuitive operation of the system.
  • Clear labelling.
  • Arrangement of components makes servicing easier.

Clean

  • Hygiene requirements are met thanks to automatic rinsing of the drinking water system before each use or as an option, at defined intervals.
  • Optional ‘rest couplings’ of the waste water pipe with ventilation in one separately closed chamber.
  • Stringent separation of waste water disposal and drinking water supply in the fixed unit.
  • Harmonized rinsing of the train tank simultaneously with the extraction process in compliance with norm DIN 1717 (optional).
  • Optional automatic rinsing of the waste water pipe and pump after each use.

Our in-house development WaVa (5 moduls) is the keystone of hollistic, customer-bespoke solutions

Armed with many years of experience, Wagemann develops appliances all over the world for supply and waste disposal, interior cleaning (IRA) and media holders. The appliances are consistently designed to be modular, can be fully automated and remote monitoring can be added.  Our solutions enable both fixed and mobile use.   Draught circulation plans, storage areas, toilet technology, air-conditioning requirements and the attendant places where they will be installed are all taken into account according to their specific challenges. Compliance with the relevant stipulations of the German Railways Authority and the equivalent national and international regulatory bodies is a matter of course.

Keyfacts about WaVa (Wagemann-Vacuum) module

  • Self-sustaining and universally applicable.
  • Customizable.
  • User-friendly, low-maintenance system.
  • Can be mounted on conventional carrier vehicles and trailers.
  • A wide range of drive types available, also with “super quiet” generators.
  • Waste water tanks in a range of different sizes, with optional activated carbon filter.
  • Simple emptying of the GFK tank with the aid of rotation reversal.
  • Fork-lift compatible thanks to practical forklift pockets.

Hand Washing Cabinets

Hand washing cabinets

Washing your hands is a must after working on the supply and waste disposal systems and should be included in formal procedural instructions. The cabinet can be incorporated perfectly into any WaVa cabinet system. It can also be fitted with the functionality ‘Compulsory hand wash’, or as a stand-alone solution.

The Wagemann hand washing cabinet is an amplification of the interior cleaning system for trains and should be kept in a location that is close to the waste disposal cabinet.

The hand washing cabinet is equipped with hot water and has interior lighting. It can additionally be amplified by a range of different dosers, which mix automatically the required amount of cleaning fluid to the washing water. Smooth operation in winter is assured by heating with a thermostat.

Media Cabinets

The Wagemann media cabinet is a service module, closed to the track, modified to comply with your requirements.

Washing water and storage room for consumables are essential in interior cleaning machinery. We offer you the option of integrating these in an existing cabinet system, underfloor installation, in or on an interior cleaning platform or stand-alone solution.

The media cabinet can be amplified with dosing nozzles, which add the amount of cleansing fluid needed and mix it with the washing water. Integrated heating ensures smooth operation in winter.
